Educational Assessment

Evaluations of children, adolescents and adults for possible learning disorders, attention problems or learning styles from an educational perspective include the administration of the appropriate tests by Dr. Rooney, a follow-up appointment to discuss the results verbally and a full report with scores, analysis and recommendations.

Follow-up phone consultation to respond to additional questions after receiving the report or phone consultation with school personnel or employers is included as part of the process and not billed as phone consultation. More extensive follow-up is also available though additional fees may be applied.

The tests administered include the Woodcock-Johnson Psycho-educational Battery, Third Edition and other tests such as the Gray Oral Reading Test or the Nelson-Denny Reading Test as needed. The administration of the tests takes approximately four hours and the administration can be scheduled for one morning (8:00-12:00, 8:30-12:30 or 9:00-1:00 based on preference), over one day with a lunch break or over multiple sessions to accommodate individual needs. The feedback time is about 50 minutes and children may attend the feedback or have a separate feedback session (10-15 minutes) if parents prefer to meet separately.

Parents do not need to stay with their child the day of the assessment. There is a general reception area if parents do wish to stay. Drinks and snacks will be provided but snacks may be brought as well, particularly if allergies or diets require specific types of food.

Fee Information:

Assessment is billed at $975 and includes the administration, interpretation, feedback, full report and follow-up phone consultation related to the report. Educational Enterprises, Inc. does not submit for insurance and uses no insurance codes. Payment is expected at the time of the assessment unless other arrangements have been made.
